Unopened can of condensed milk + 8 hours on low (completely submerged in water) in the crock pot + cool down in the fridge = Caramel! This is the best cararmel I've ever had, let alone made! It's so easy! Need to try this!

The Shape of Design by @Frank Chimero is a great design thinking book, helping to explain design as a method to plan and create change. I'm still reading this but it's hugely inspiring and highly recommended. $30

Rumsey Map Collection. Sebastian Adams' 1881 Synchronological Chart of Universal History is 23 feet long and shows 5,885 years of history, from 4004 B.C. to 1881 A.D. It is the longest timeline we have seen. The recently published Cartographies of Time calls it "nineteenth-century America's surpassing achievement in complexity and synthetic power." In the key to the map, Adams states that timeline maps enable learning and comprehension "through the eye to the mind."

Jenn Thorn I dunno. The combination of nudity and sewing machines just seems fraught with peril, somehow ... not to mention, the hazards of the unexpected straight pin...
