Print out a pattern you like, place a sheet of wax paper over it and trace the pattern with puffy paints. When it dries peel it off the wax paper and apply it to it's permanent surface. (This gal has lots of great ideas!)

Adding memories throughout the year and then reading them on New Year's Eve. - this is such an awesome/fun idea- how cool would it be to save a jar per year and just keep adding to the collection!
Take 4 canvases (2 of each size), paint them a solid base color, cut your designs out on vinyl with the Silhouette (I used a few different designs for this, and laid them out on the canvases before removing the backing)

Christina Savage I will be making this dress. Thinking about using a black t-shirt and adding some black tule to make it full and black lace to give it a vintage party dress look. Finish it off with a nice wide black belt and some jewelry. Perfect. Thanks!
