Books I've read in 2012

Excellent read, I'd read it before but had completely forgotten the story. In fact, I'm not certain I ever did finish it.

Book I've had laying around for years. Decided to read it before ditching. Good book for kids who enjoy history. I have always enjoyed the Dear America series.

Very thought-provoking and fits in a bit with other things I've been thinking about recently

Written by a couple whom I know from my childhood church! A bit slow for me at times, but an overall great story. Follows a family, going back and forth between 2 generations.

I liked "she walks in beauty" so much, I decided to buy this one. Not sorry that I did. Quirky, good read.

This one surprised me--I got it free for Kindle, but it is seriously good. I literally could not put it down.

This is a compilation of the 5 books in the series. I'd read 2 of them before. I love Rivers' take on these women from the Bible! SO good. I stayed up waay too late in order to read.

Not entirely sure I really want to link up to this book. It is NOT Biblically sound. It could prove dangerous to a young woman who is not firmly grounded in scriptural truths and in how to correctly understand the Bible. If you wish your daughter to read it...PLEASE read it first and be ready to discuss what is right (there are some good points) and what is wrong.

Third in the trilogy. Not bad.

Seriously great piece of biblical fiction! I read this in about 36 hours.

Good book by former Amish and current Mennonite Jerry Eicher. This is first in a trilogy--I'm currently on book 2. Extra-cool because the setting is just 2 counties over from me in OH.

I couldn't get the actually book page link to work. Anyway--The Booths were fascinating people and I applaud what they did even if I don't agree with all their stances.

Well-written, a bit on the boring side though. But interesting to learn about the man for whom a school I played against in sports is named after.

Good book, especially if you have no clue where to begin. I've been reading the blog for years so not really new info for me. But worth my time anyways.

Seriously good book about a bold man of God. Brother Andrew started Open Doors Ministries, which focuses on reaching oppressed peoples with God's Word.

I started this series in Dec., but finished it this year. Love Bev. Lewis!
