rough saw flooring....how to: find a saw mill, pick out the lowest grade wood you can purchase (way cheaper), have the sawmill run the wood back through with a shim in the blade. (If the wood has not been milled - all the better, as you will get a cheaper price before milling). The shim is what produces the roughsawn look. You then want to go over the floor with a LIGHT sanding to get any splinters, clean, stain, and then to get the most amazing look, you use wax to fill in the areas between boards, and then coat will many layers of a water based (healthier and not oil, which stinks for a long time and affects allergies) polyurethane treatment. You will have million dollar looking floors!
Love the 'sleeper train car' effect of the nook beds with privacy curtains. Great use of an attic

What a clever idea. No wasted space & nothing falling behind lazy susans.

Not sure which piece I love more, the chandelier or the mantel
Similar to our current table, just in case we ever have to replace it

What an ingenious idea....I would love something like this in our custom home. Would just have cabinetmaker make it to match cabinets/blend in!
