Would wood counter top with painted white cabinets work in that space if I committed to painting the rest of the trim white??

Remove wall and top cabinets to create a breakfast bar. To replace the storage lost by the cabinet removal try this idea under the new breakfast bar. I prefer the idea of using legs to raise the cabinets to the height needed.

Holly Mason my husband made one just like this. He just added a toddler bed to the open side so now we have a quad bed. He made it very easy by using daybed springs for the top bunks and a hollywood frame for the bottom.
