Four cups rice, 2T of food colouring, 3T of white vinegar & mix. Put on pan to dry in sun. Make different colours, stick in box & add sandbox playthings. Easier to clean than sand!

A paint-chip synonym garden! The colors on the paint strip are similar, but not exactly the same, just like the synonyms themselves. Here, children wrote their names in the last space of each paint-chip card, but it would be a good spot to add an antonym instead.
This would be cute in my classroom! It could hold sight word cards, etc., too!
