Film buffs are familiar with the house as that of Gatsby’s in the Robert Redford-Mia Farrow film version of Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.” Called Rosecliff, it was designed and built between 1899 and 1902 by Stanford White of McKim, Mead & White. History buffs will find Rosecliff in Newport, Rhode Island, located on historic Bellevue Avenue. It is open to the public.

Fetching pins…
Tiphany Plank I've been there and they are super scary!! You have to use a rope to pull yourself up some of the way AND most of the "stairs" are non-existent but the view is truly AMAZING!
