My best tip is to keep the leave closest to the top pinched off every few days and it will continue to produce all season. Lisa Wagman In Chicago, my thyme, mint, and chives all came back this spring in pots. The chives are huge and blooming. The thymes are spreading and the mint is already getting tall. I know rosemary can overwinter as well in colder climates. I wish I would have left mine outside to find out. It died inside after two months.

It was so much easier. It watered everything in the morning before for was too hot. I could program the minutes I wanted and how many days and how often. It was the first time in years that I NEVER had to worry about "did I water? too much? I will be doing it again this year.
