love wings! how i would do it. 1. large cardboard or foam core. trace or even glue pieced newspaper pattern onto board. after shapes are cut, score w a wooden spoon handle to design the groove pattern I want on the flat surface of the wings. 3. use joint compound to create texture over the flat surfaces and around the cardboard edges. 4. ink, color, embellish as desired; sanding for aging etc. 5. mount hangers on reverse sides use! YAY
