Memento Morie More like anorexi-yeah! Right Leya! The body ebbs and flows every day. Unless you have chronic edema, it's good at regulating itself. If you do a weird diet for a week, yes you will probably lose about five pounds...misplace, rather, because it'll come back.

Jennifer Murphy When I started running 20 years ago, I would often reward my self with junk food, justifying that the running made it ok. Then I realized how foolish (in my opinion) that was. Now I put $1 in a jar everytime I run or lift.....which is daily..amazing how much more I enjoy rewarding myself with a maincure, new book...I do enjoy a decadent treat everynow and then, it is just not my reward for running.

Megan Evans Plank: First lay on your stomach, second prop yourself up on your forearms, third, much like a push up, lift your core and legs off of the floor. You use your abs to hold your body straight as you use your forearms and toes to keep you in place. I hope that makes sense.

Lisa Sanders-Ward No, the sweating does not have anything to do with burning calories, but I do believe what it is saying that after a cardio workout you should have worked hard enough to start sweating...which would also mean you are burning calories because of the workout. I don't think that what the poster was trying to say was all you have to do is sweat and you will automatically burn calories.
Jessca Marie The coolness is a biological reaction to the process of working out. Your body is lacking enough oxygen (to produce enough energy) to keep up with your movement so it goes to a secondary process to produce energy and this results in the coolness. Nothing to do with sweat really, this is internal reaction :)
