From the Washington Post: "Summer cookbooks to keep you in the kitchen: Beatrice Peltre gives us creative food with big flavors that draw on her French childhood. Her writing is personal and charming."

A happy board meeting with sample recipes from La Tartine Gourmande.

"The recipes in the cookbook are really unique and the ones I’ve made so far were all delicious. The dishes are quite nutritious as well–whole-grains instead of white flours, full of fruits and vegetables, and low on meat."

"Saying that her work is stunning would be an understatement and it’s really as good as food photography gets."

Lemon-and-honey-flavored chicken: "Yes, this will fill your house with divine smells as it cooks."

Beatrice Peltre speaking at Harvard Bookstore, via Cambridge Cooks.

When I saw this book at the bookstore, I literally couldn't even make it to the cash register before cracking it open. I plopped down on an inverted milk crate in the middle of the aisle and dove right in.

Inspired indeed!: "We got the idea for these after trying a pistachio muffin recipe from Bea’s wonderful cookbook."
