Profile picture of Misti Taylor

Misti Taylor I agree.Definitely not Math!!

Profile picture of Madison Overcast

Madison Overcast When your a little kid using drawings instead of numbers helps immensely! I hate math too but drawing it out always helped!

Profile picture of Rowena Murillo

Rowena Murillo I think art and math are actually very connected, but the way we teach does not use that connection, so we don't get the benefit in schools. I can see it as an adult, but I never did as a kid.

Profile picture of AlaskaRunner+

AlaskaRunner+ I think art can definitely help with basic math skills but once I hit the algebra stage I was lost. I had a great teacher who tried to use my artsy inclinations to help me understand complex problems but sadly it just never clicked. Though I must say I was AWESOME at geometry.

Profile picture of Misti Taylor

Misti Taylor Yes algebra took me two years to get decent at it, but I LOVED Geometry and it came very easily to me!

This is timely and good to know! I just bought my first one today! :-) How to Sharpen Your Rotary Cutter Blade. Fold a piece of foil a few times and slice away with your dull rotary cutter, pausing a few times to test it out on your fabric scraps till it starts slicing away your fabric too! You will end up with a like-new rotary cutter!

Rowena Murillo I used to make doll heads, but I never knew the tricks to make them into parts that can be dolls. The perils of a person who makes things up as she goes along.

Kate Carr Honestly, I just think heads, hands, and feet are the fun parts because of all the detail. :)
