Karla Alfred I like how much thought went into this, but the book alludes to there being wilderness between all districts, so that they can't connect.
Crystal Turner I've seen several differing versions but this one is the prettiest. :)
Audrey Simmons I don't know about all of this, but District 12 is supposed to be in Appalachia so it could be in any of 5 or so states. The movie looks like here in WV and pretty much the whole range.

Lord of the Rings flow chart. Charts the itinerary of the story’s main characters, individually and in group, showing when they meet, separate and rejoin each other. The progression is from left to right, not only in tune with the traditional (Western) reading direction but also mirroring the trajectory in the story itself, which starts in the Shire on Middle-Earth’s western edge and leads to Mordor in the east.

Lywanda Held One morning before dawn I was carpooling a group of 15 year old girls and when we saw our second owl within 10 minutes...every girl in the car yelled some version of "I knew Hogwarts would send for me - I just knew it!" Thank you Ms Rowling for that moment.
