Did you know that if you put m&m;'s in warm water, the "m's" will float up to the top?
My friend told me about this yesterday: The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. We just use kitchen scissors to cut what we need for meals. I periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.

Apparently oranges burn like candles. No messy wax, and no wick required. Definitely trying this.

Make Your Own Glitter out of Tin Foil! Need: * Baking Pan * Tin Foil * 1/4 cup of salt * 1/2 teaspoon of food coloring * Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Directions: * Mix 1/4 cup of salt with a 1/2 teaspoon of food coloring in a small bowl until the salt is uniformly colored. * Spread the mixture out in an even layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. * Bake in the oven for ten minutes. Allow your homemade glitter to cool before using it. NOTE: * You may also store it in an air tight container for several months. * This glitter can be used for almost any type of project and may even be mixed with glue for special crafts.

Winter bubbles! As long as the temperature is below 0C or 32F, the bubbles will freeze and shatter when they fall to the ground! Can't wait to try this!
brilliant! let's face it, holes in TOMS are inevitable. so cover them up with pretty fabric :)
@Sarah Studer, did you already know you could do this yourself?

This might be one of the most amazing things ever!!! "Salad made in jars at the beginning of the week, with the spinach/lettuce not touching the dressing)…will last about 4 days, so you have one for almost every day of the week!"
