Sweet potato: Preheat oven to 350* Slice sweet potatoes ~1/2 inch thick. Lightly coat with olive oil + a sprinkling of salt Bake for 20min [turning once] Turn heat to 400* Bake for ~15-20min more [turning once] You won’t even believe what you have just done. As you puncture through the slightly crunchy browned skin, the center oozes with creaminess. It is like you puree’d sweet potatoes and infused them back into the potato. The flavor is equally as amazing. No extra salt was needed. No cinnamon. No maple syrup. They were sweet + caramelized + delicious.

roasted 2 pounds of baby carrots in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes with some seasoning and a little olive oil. They were pulled out of the oven and drizzled with about 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of honey, and about 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar. Pop them back into the oven for about 5 more minutes.

Oven Roasted Garlic Brussels Sprouts - heaven in a dish
Sliced baked potatoes foodgawker.com/po... Method Preheat the oven to 220˚C (425˚F). Put the potato on a chopping board, flat side down. Start from one end of the potato, cut almost all the way through, at about 3 to 4 mm intervals. Arrange the potatoes in a baking tray and insert the garlic in between the slits. Scatter some butter on top of each potato. Then drizzle the olive oil and sprinkle some sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Bake the potatoes for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes turn crispy and the flesh is soft.
