Jennifer White I've thought about trying to quit, but didn't know where to start. I'm going to download this right now.
Shannon Brennan @Jennifer White, I did it for the entire month of January last year. I did no dairy, no meat, no processed foods, no alcohol, no sugar and if I could find it in organic, I bought everything organic. It was really time-consuming, challenging and expensive, but I lost 12 pounds without ever being hungry or exercising like a crazy woman. I felt great, but I only challenged myself to do it for a month and when the month was over, I went back to my old ways. I felt great, but I really missed cheese and beer. I keep thinking I should try it again. I loved how I felt but thinking about all the shopping and planning and making things from scratch, because sugar is in everything, I feel a bit overwhelmed. I even made my own bread, because the sugar free whole wheat options were very limited.
Jennifer White I bought the book. I'm hoping to start March 1. I'll have to see if it will work for me. With a full-time job and a toddler I don't have a lot of extra time to cook.
