I have tried to be zen in my work, and failing at that, have made these pictures. The compositions are automated, in 20-60 layers. They are mostly placed on the original backgrounds. Wherever there was a flaw, you see a mark. These marks, separated from the original, just to keep some kind of record and to draw a line between what is yours and what is mine. They look like ghosts to me.

Incognita Nom de Plume Do go, be nice to cab drivers and they won't rip you off and only go to the Grand Bazaar if you a. Have a/are a gorgeous young women in tow, and b. Don't value your sanity (all the sparkly-arkly things will burn it out of your brain). On the other hand, Istanbul is full of wonder if you just stop following USA tourists and really open yourself to it... Everything great about humanity can be found there.
Lorelei DuBois We were VERY NICE to the cab drivers, who would not take us up to the hotel door, but sis not want the security att he hilton to know their cab number. They stole at least 75 TL from us, in "change". I was helping teach, and it was my second trip there. and........... I do love Istanbul, but I am blonde, but they ripped off my husband. The woman who arranged the first international bead exposition several years ago ripped off everyones hotel payments, and the teachers. I do not believe the Turkish Government ever made restitution to the participants. She took the money and left town...went to the west coast and bought a new resort with the stolen money I think. Shepreviously owned "the Mina"
