Rather than buying those ridiculously expensive anti-slip mats for a rug, just turn it over and run a few lines of acrylic-latex caulk every 6 inches or so. Let dry and flip over and your rug wont be going anywhere!

Try making your own reusable gift tags!! Just buy whatever little wooden shapes you like at the craft store (the smaller ones like this are super cheap) cover them in chalkboard paint and punch a hole for the string / ribbon and you're set!!

must try this>> Glass cutting with only yarn and fingernail polish remover- Here is what you do: -wrap the cotton yarn around your bottle 5-6 times, tie and cut ends. -slide yarn off of the bottle -dip in nail polish remover -slide the wet yarn back onto the bottle---NOTE---the bottle will be cut at whatever angle you have the yarn at, so if you are interested in doing a sideways cut just adjust your yarn -light on fire ****please please be careful**** -only the wet yarn will be lit on fire and the flame is very well controlled -rotate bottle in circles as the yarn is on fire for about 20 seconds so that all parts of the bottle warm evenly *** I just hung onto the bottom half of the bottle and slowly rotated it around*** -submerge in cold water and watch the bottle parts separate -use sand paper to smooth rough edges. ....I don't know if this really works or not. Seems easy enough though, right? hmm
Santa Key (wish we had one of these when I was little, lol, I was always confused because we didn't have a chimney..How was he gonna get in?) this is perfect! ♥

Using an old cabinet (you could probably find one at an auction, garage sale, flea market or antique store) you can create this adorable and very useful serving table or potters bench.

"Technology Tickets". Each Sunday give the kids 10 tickets. Each ticket = 30 minutes of t.v., game system, computer, etc. Tickets can be used consecutively, but when they are out they are out for the week. Parents still reserve the right to say "no" even if they have a ticket. LOVE it.
Onsie cupcakes. I have to try this one!
