I do believe that all art is propaganda. But some art is more propagandist than others. I made a series of virtual (and sometimes printed) posters for a recent activist campaign against Lockheed Martin. This board contains my work, but also the work that inspires me. Not because I believe it all, but because it does its job in a compelling and aesthetically satisfying way. If you plan to repin any of these images, please keep the information about context and authorship.
said to have been issued by Senator Joseph McCarthy at the height of the Red Scare in Washington. No citations available, so probably not. Cool though

This poster was produced to mark the first anniversary of the day on 5th September 1981 that a Welsh group, Women for Life on Earth arrived at Greenham Common airbase in Berkshire, having marched from Cardiff, to protest at the NATO decision to site ground launched cruise missiles there. A peace camp was set up outside the main gate and remained for 19 years.

Hundreds of artifacts are included in the displays, including vintage posters such as “Women Work for Victory,” part of a 1942-44 campaign to rally women to war work. There’s also a complete 1980s kitchen
