Stephanie {Somewhat Simple} yes- other companies pay you to write about their products or websites. I only accept the offers that have products I think my readers would enjoy. I dont want my blog to be one big commercial!

Liz Hurst So ummm silly question, what are the big advantages of the switch? I haven't seen enought to convince me from free to $10/year ( I know I am cheap.)
Stephanie {Somewhat Simple} A dot com sounds more professional than a blogspot. For me, when Somewhat Simple started getting advertisers, I wanted to take it from a casual hobby to a professional site, and so dot com rather than dot blogspot dot com sounds better.
Stephanie {Somewhat Simple} My family site is still a blogspot address 'cause Id rather have a free site than pay even $1 a year- I am cheap too!
