Spring Picks for Brooklyn Dry Goods. **Please note these were meant for the gents, but also apply just as well for the ladies!
would love to find an amazing old lamp like one of these.
D.S. & Durga "Spent Musket Oil" -- inspired by the other worldly aroma of a Barbary wars era rifle found in the hold of a packet ship in the Brooklyn Navy Yards. I love the sound of it. A limited edition run of only 175 bottles.

Nice map, and not just because it includes Texas. A very good piece of ad design.

Seen at the Brooklyn Flea, a great haunt for rifling through dead people's stuff and more since 2008. I didn't get the chance to go when we were in NYC in 2010.
When you want to smell manly AND historic: Spent Musket Oil takes it's cue from the mixed aromas of a Barbary Wars-era rifle found in the hold of a packet ship in the Brooklyn Navy Yards with accords of vintage birchwood, spent rifle oil, & dried leather hilt warmed by Cavendish tabac, Merchant Marine's bay rhum, & musk. Using D.S. & Durga's bottle, BKLYN Dry Goods wrapped the French-made glass vessel in leather cord, affixing to it a pair of custom-inscribed stainless military dog-tags.
