Paul Bentham Rather than build a waste-burning power station out the outskirts of the town, Bjarke Ingels decided to build it in the centre to remind people how important it is to their lives. He then made it blow smoke rings to show people what a tonne of CO2 is - simply count ten rings. Oh and he also made it a ski slope as Copenhagen is a city with lots of snow but no hills.
