    The Locker Loop, a love story: Found below the collar of the back of the shirt. The loop, which is a GANT innovation, was originally created so you could hang your shirt on the hook inside a sports locker and keep it wrinkle free. The students however soon found further use for it. In the 60's when a YALE guy was going steady, he removed the loop as a sign that he was taken. His girl would, in turn wear his collage scarf.
