Spirit Guide Amulet Necklace by kmichel on Etsy, $65.00

Yet another one I don't want to sell. It's pretty freakin' gorgeous, even if I do say so myself. The strawberry element was one half of a set of shoe buckles. The other necklace I made with it's partner sold immediately. I was hoarding this one but then it suddenly called out to me to go with the other components I'd been playing with. So, the gold filigree buckle has a little bunch of strawberries and leaves. Use the zoom to see the incredible detail. From that I dangled a giant, pink, Peruvian, faceted opal bead (A grade in case you're an overachiever). Above the buckle is a vintage, repurposed brooch from France with mother of pearl and tiny rhinestones. So, now, I was on a roll...pinks and reds needed to be the color scheme....think of slicing open a fresh strawberry....aaah. Above the repurposed pin are faceted garnet beads, faceted Swarovski beads and vintage rhinestone balls and then...oh, and then, are the 2 most favorite finds of all time...those four leaf clover connectors! Holy cr*p they are amazing! Then there are sections from a vintage rhinestone repurposed bracelet and then the most wonderful heavy, vintage, chain that has incredible movement. Then more garnets, Swarovski rhinestone balls and a vintage rhinestone clasp. Off the clasp I dangled a new-but-made-to-look-old 4 leaf clover from a portion of a mother of pearl rosary. Overall length from top of clasp to bottom of opal bead is 13 1/2".

The longest strand is approx 22" (11" drop). At the very bottom I used the last portion of a vintage, WWII soldiers brass rosary (!!!). I hung a repurposed round rhinestone pin from the bottom of that. Then there are 2 square-cut Czech glass connectors and on each side I attached a different, vintage, watch chains. At the top are 2 more smaller square-cut Czech glass connectors.

Six strands. No waiting. Step right up! These multi-strand necklaces are all the rage and I love how disheveled they look. Like you didn't care. But you know you do. So here's the deal...you can sort of straighten this out to make it more tame (see 2nd photo) but the more fun way is to hold this by one end and spin and twist if up and then put it on. (See photo #1). These 6 strands are all connected on each end with one clasp. If you keep spinning it can even be a choker. I put a chain on one end near the clasp to give you more room for doing that. This necklace has a vintage gold watch chain, a vintage mesh-type gold chain, a vintage brass rosary (!!!the dealer I bought this from told me it was a soldier's rosary from WWII!!) with the cross and religious iconography removed, a small-link vintage silver chain and 2 vintage rhinestone necklaces - one is a double-row and the other has 5 marquis drops! Overall length is approx 17" but as you twist and tangle it will get shorter. See photos for difference in length.
