I so love this rug. I have seen it somewhere before but can't remember... where can I get my own? Anyone know?

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent 1 Cup of Borax 1 Cup Baking Soda (I used Washing Soda) 1/2 Cup Kosher Salt 1/2 Cup Citric Acid (You can purchase "Fresh Fruit" in the canning isle. It is a produce protector or you can puchase 15 packets of lemon Kool-aid, the unsweetened kind, and that works as well.) Mix all ingredients in a container and voila! dshwasher detergent! Use 1 Tbsp per load PLUS add some vinegar to the rinse aid portion of your dishwasher (this keeps the plastic from getting a cloudy look) and wash away!
Take your favorite liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth completely with it. Wring it out and let it dry completely, then throw it in with your next load. This mega-fabric softener sheet should be good for at least 40 loads of laundry, stretching out softener use and lessening waste.

An outlet that might change how I view my always plugged in TV/computer.
Two bookcases ($34.99) anchor this makeover. The baseboard wrapping the base creates a custom-built look. For extra storage, divide the bottom units to create cubbies for shoes.

Anna McClary When we bought our new set we were told that dryer sheets and liquid softener will actually overtime coat the sensors in your dryer. Made sense since in our old one the drying sensor was totally off and I was dryer sheet/bar junky. Try just using white vinegar instead.
