Stacy of KSW it was originally for a wedding so I see why they used ribbon. For my children, yes of course we would do crepe paper. Pins are only inspiration, modify them to suit your needs. That's part of the fun :)

Maygan Lee the rainbow sherbet version of this tastes awesome, but has a tenedcy to bleed together and make a muddled brown (which is perfect as a halloween "witches brew"). For a girly party, I'd stick with either a raspberry or orange (or you could line up clear cups with individual sherberts as different flavor options)
