what a fab idea -> reusable snapping paper towels by mamamade

118 likes 8 comments 662 repins

Profile picture of Stacy of KSW

Stacy of KSW hey Kari, I thought about the snaps too and how I may not always be the greatest about reassembly ... but I think my kids might actually like to do it! And they probably arent much different than tea towels, but great for my extended family members who come over and don't understand why we don't use paper towels. At least I would have something familiar to them for them to use :)

Christy Ruppert Brilliant!

Profile picture of Charliene Damore

Charliene Damore I've got to tell you - I used to draw smiley faces to where they had to be "looking at" each other before my son put his shoes on. That child! He would put them facing each other, except the shoes themselves were facing HIM. Then he'd pick up each shoe, turn it around, and slip it on his foot - wala, he still got them on the wrong feet! lol That could happen with these too, if the child faces the shoes toward them before placing them on their feet!

Lauren Ballew I've been doing this for months & haven't had a problem yet!

Profile picture of Kristin Traugott-Hackbart

Kristin Traugott-Hackbart That's weird that your clothes smelled funny because ours still smell ok and we aren't even using fabric softener right now

Profile picture of Melanie Chadwick

Melanie Chadwick No, they (the soaked fabric sheets) got a stinky smell (like when clothes are left in the wash too long) before they had a chance to dry all the way...maybe I over soaked them? I don't know, but it grossed me out.

Profile picture of Suzi Campbell

Suzi Campbell Soaked fabric sheets? I thought this "recipe" was for liquid fabric softener. I have not tried it yet. But excited too.

Profile picture of Melanie Chadwick

Melanie Chadwick Sorry. I guess someone stole this original picture and used it for another recipe to make reusable fabric softener dryer sheets. The recipe I was referring to was another pin, it had this same picture, but was a different link.

Profile picture of Stacy of KSW

Stacy of KSW Sorry for the repins, I dont like it when the image doesn't show up ... getting one of these for my inlaws for Christmas. They come in different sizes for different breeds, there is a cat one too

Profile picture of Jessi Champion

Jessi Champion we have one for both our dog and our cat and we love them!

Profile picture of Ashley Poindexter

Ashley Poindexter Be sure to wash the bottom tray out every few days, though! Food crumbles fall down in the tray and when the pet water overflows into the tray, it creates MOLD!! Def. not healthy for the sweet dog/cat. Otherwise, I love mine (and so does the cat). It also prevents the animal from "playing with their food". My cat loved to use her paw to scoop out food and play with it all over the floor. Its impossible to do now with this bowl.

when you open the drawer you can see all your clothes :)

by Andrea Dekker

14 likes 7 comments 436 repins

Profile picture of Amber Isborn

Amber Isborn This is awesome. I recently did our drawers like this. A little hard to maintain though, which I understand for my 4 year old. I did think my 11 year old could keep it nice, but his is worse than the 4 year old! And don't get me started on my hubby. LOL It is a great idea though, as long as I am the one putting away all the laundry. :)

Profile picture of Grace Bost

Grace Bost I can't even imagine how you could just get one shirt out and keep it neat. I stack mine like that, easier and you can still see them

Profile picture of Michelle Retzer

Michelle Retzer This worked out really well for our family. It was easier to find the clothes.

Profile picture of Rebecca 'Wolff' Whitfield

Rebecca 'Wolff' Whitfield Love this. I have been doing this for probably a dozen or so years - since middle school. I do it for my husband and he was amazed when we got married that there was a way to see all his shirts at one time. : )

Profile picture of Mussarat Ahmad

Mussarat Ahmad @regina cole - use smaller baskets in drawers and then they stay like that and don't fall down! Also easier for little ones or messy pups as only a few in each basket so easier to remove without messing up.
