Has anyone tried Goodbyn? Looks like a neat idea for school lunches. I'd love to hear what you think about them

Fabi Elias-Ramsey I bought them and HATE them. The lid sucks and the water bottle is impractical. Waste of $20+
Penny Workman We had the ones from Old Navy that Katy M. suggested. The hinges broke on both within a week. Really liked them, so this was a big disappointment.
Kim R My daughter wanted one sooo badly she bought one with her birthday money! The 1st day she used it, it came home a mess without the lid! She couldn't get it back on properly... She hasn't used it since... :( Disappointing!
Holly B Better for older kids, and items that don't need to be chilled. My kindergartner had a hard time closing it, but my 2nd grader was okay with it. It is big. Depending on how your child eats, it may or may not work out. Simpler cheaper options are out there. What I like: everything is enclosed separately and they can eat everything at once without having to open lots of containers. Make sure you have them practice pushing down to snap everything closed or have them get help from a lunch lady. You'd probably need a custom insulated bag to keep it chilled. I like that the bottle IS small so they fill up on nutritious food and not just their drink. The stickers are fun and pretty durable. So even if you go with another option, the stickers make it fun to customize their boxes. I like that it slides in backpacks easily ie it's flat and long not square and boxy.
Min Austin I work in a Child Care Centre. These lunch boxes are a nightmare.take up too much room in our fridge. very hard for children and adults to put the lids on securely-result lunch all over the floor! The side small spaces are TOO small to get food out.in short -rubbish
Rar :)

Stacy of KSW you ladies are THE reason I love Pinterest!!! Thanks so much for all your ideas & links and help. I'm not much of a sewer ... yet! but I'm willing to try & can't wait to show you how it all turns out :)
Allison James @Sherry Whitlock check these out!!!
Carol Schultz Sew it together at the hem and the raw edge will be covered up at the wasteband.
Trudy Connor WhatNotGems You can sew the bottoms together or you can leave it layered so that you have glimpses of the inner skirt. Just do a 1-2" hem. two layers would give more fullness. to make even full add a layer of stiff netting between the the two fabrics.
Trudy Connor WhatNotGems Another idea http://www.simplymodernmom....
yes, I know we COULD just make these ourselves ... but I know a certain little someone who would get hours & hours of fun from this $10
