How many dried up markers have you had to toss in the trash? Every year Crayola makes enough markers to wrap around the Earth 3 times!! A group of kids from Sun Valley school started a petition asking Crayola to institute a recycling/take back program. They call themselves Kids Who Care, and they have over 62,000 signatures so far. Will you take a moment to sign their petition and help them reach their goal of 75,000? Thank You

AnnMarie Adams you can also take the markers and group them in similar colors. Wrap with rubber band and dip the tips into a jar of water. Let sit for a few days/a week. Makes great water colors. Lots of teachers do that at the end of the year with all the pens they have or acquire.

Stacy of KSW @Catherine Burton thanks! I was wondering the same thing myself ($$), I would be happy to recreate in conduit -- maybe even spray it with some of that mercury glass paint? or something equally cool. I'm sure they have copper spray paint right?
Pindictive Rachel Indeed they have copper spray paint. In my area I wouldn't trust actual copper not to get stolen.
