Kimberly Purcell Cool! I'll try anything at this point.
Come To Order Organizing I use Borax in my wash instead of the Oxy Clean. It is less expensive and works on brightness, stains and odor!
Tub and Shower Magic from Food.com: This shower cleaner came from an Everyday Cheapskate e-mail, and it is truly magic, as the title states. I just tried it and it got the soap scum off my glass shower door with hardly any scrubbing. It was amazing, as I have tried to clean that door with various products. It is so easy, too. Try it and you will be sold. Be careful because a little bit goes a long way. You need a 24-oz. squirt bott...

BonnieSmith /PaperWizard Did it! Works!
Standolyn Robertson I have not tried it yet.
Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) and appliances shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price

Body Scrub: You need only four ingredients to make these moisturizing exfoliants. Once they're inside little glass jars, they'll easily slip into the toe of a Christmas stocking.

Michele Hart where do you get the pumps?
Standolyn Robertson I went to store today and bought a bottle of foaming hand wash on sale for $1.89. When I use it up I will recycle the clear foaming pump. PS - I use Dr. Bronner's in mine.
Michele Hart Great Idea, thank you :)

Dip the tip of an empty Swiffer Wetjet solution bottle into boiling water for about 10 seconds and the lid twists off (use a towel). Refill with your preferred cleaning solution at appropriate dilution and re-cap.

Clean your shower and tubs (or tile) Instructions 1. Halve Grapefruit: 1 medium to large grapefruit will clean your entire bath or shower from top to bottom, including all the fixtures. Simply cut it in half with a knife and you'll be all set. 2. Sprinkle With Salt: Using 1 grapefruit half at a time, sprinkle liberally with salt. Wet your bathtub and sprinkle the remaining salt around the bottom. 3. Take That Scrubbing Bubbles!Scrub your grapefruit around your shower or tub, making sure to slightly "juice" the citrus over each fixture and lifting it every few seconds to pick up fresh salt from around the tub instead of just pushing it around. 4. Rinse: When all is said and done, simply rinse away the pulpy bits and the salt and your shower is as good as new. Not only is it clean, it will smell so fantastic you'll want to curl up in it and read a book. Ok, probably not, but you get the idea! Additional Notes: This technique will get thick grime and dirt rings off your shower area and does amazing work on cast iron tubs especially. You can also use this method to clean your sinks, toilets, tile and more — it just depends on how grapefruit crazy you want to get!Look,

Alyssa Tanigawa The problem with this mix is the mineral oil which depletes your skin cells. I will have to look elsewhere for a more natural recipe.
Standolyn Robertson Good point. Use the baby lotion without mineral oil, I will. I feel confident that this recipe would work with lotions without mineral oils. Like you, I try to stay away from mineral base products for my skin.
