Pegasus Carrabelle 30 in. Birch Vanity Cabinet Only in Glacier White $429. Looks nice, but the review say that it is more of a cream than white.

Laura Kurz I think we are leaning toward just a pedestal in that bath. It's so small...There's a linen closet literally right outside the door too for storage...What do you think?
Heidi Sentivan I think that is a question for your mom. :) Is a large medicine cabinet enough? Are you thinking of putting the hotel shelf/hooks in the tub area or above the toilet?
For the first floor bath this company offers a 30" sink base for $272 w/ 2 doors (w/ granite and sink extra). It might be worth asking your kitchen guys how much for a vanity base from them (since this just looks like a regular kitchen base unit).
For downstairs bath? 31" Vanity, $398

JoAnn Kirk that is a pretty good deal and it is a nice sculptural shape.
It is too bad this finish won't work because Pottery Barn has this nice one on clearance for $49.99. It is $129 for a chrome finish.
Link to Penny Round color choices at the Tile Shop. You might want to go there and look at the options. They have a couple of locations that look fairly close to you.$5.59 sf (except for the stainless steel option).

Heidi Sentivan For any Tile Shop purchases you can use this coupon code YHL10 (from the Young House Love blog) for 10% off everything (online and in stores).
Laura Kurz Cool! Will try to go there next week - it's about a 30 minute drive from here.
Heidi Sentivan They have a nice selection of higher end tiles and marble to look at (and it is nice to see these in person). I visited the one near us a couple of weeks ago. I thought that the marble was quite good quality and that the penny tiles were very nice. There prices on plain subway tile is quite high.

Laura Kurz Very pretty...Very clean! The kids will keep it this clean when they are teenagers, right?
Mix of Carrera Bianco marble tile and mosaic w/ trim pieces from the BuilderDepot.

Laura Kurz Love this - guess that's one way to avoid it being slippery too!

Laura Kurz Oh I love the look of this! What color grout would you do?
JoAnn Kirk I like this too. Does it come in colors? LOL
Heidi Sentivan Definitely gray, although I would have to look at a grout color chart to find the right shade.
Possible Accent Tile. Hamilton Biltmore w/ Ice Glass, $23.99 sf
Possible accent tile for second bath, $24.99 sf. I thought it had a nice beachy feel. Mix of glass and stone.

I didn't know that Overstock sold tile! I found a link to this. $88.99 for 10 sf. Apparently it is difficult to install. Suitable for walls and floors.

Laura Kurz Oh, I think I remember seeing this on a blog somewhere! Wonder how much the builder would charge to install it? ;) I will ask...So it won't be slippery on the floor?
Heidi Sentivan If it is listed for floors it means that it shouldn't be too slippery (there is actually slip coefficient rating that flooring has to meet if it is rated for that). This one actually looks more matte then the Walker Zanger one, although it is a little hard to tell from the photo. It might be a little slippery. You will need to stock up on the socks with the nubby things on the bottom. ;)
Ann Sacks Nottingham Arabesque in blue mist, don't ask how much it costs
Still not the right tile but I like the color.
Small Arabesque by Pratt and Larson (no price listed but given where they sell it, it is expensive)
Pocelona Bath Vanity Light. Available in 1, 2, 3 & 4 lights. Chrome finish only. Amazon prices it at $149

More sleek option. $130.80. Available in 1, 2 & 3 lights. Can be mounted up or down. Also has a nice matching ceiling fixture.
Bath Vanity Sconce, $137.70. Available as 1, 2, 3 & 4 lights. Can be mounted up or down. I like the plate behind fixture.
Bath Vanity Sconce Option, $58.65. I like this as a singe sconce but I don't care for it as a multiple sconce. It can be mounted up or down.
Another bath and vanity light option. $193.35. Available in 1, 2, 3 & 4 lights. Can be mounted up or down.
Bath Vanity Sconce Option, $187.65. Comes in 1, 2 & 3 light options. You can also mount this down if you prefer.
Vanity Wall Sconce. $177.60. Comes in 1, 2, 3 & 4 light versions
Still looking for the source.

Laura Kurz I would imagine this would be super slippery on a floor, right? We could always wear gripper socks. ;)
Heidi Sentivan I can't find the source for these, which is really frustrating because I know I have seen them somewhere recently. The picture is a BHG source but the link is dead.
Heidi Sentivan Okay, so the source is Walker Zanger "Ashbury". They make really nice tile, but it tends to be quite expensive.
Laura Kurz Everything I like is quite expensive. :)
Heidi Sentivan Saw a quote for $19 sf
Beveled Arabesque for walls, $25.94 sf.

Aimee Curley Laura- I did this in my guest bath and love it- very versatile. When my more frequent guests come (mom, sister) I have a specific basket of toiletries and their stuff they've kept at my house- and I put the basket on top!
Heidi Sentivan Love this! It is on my list to buy for myself for our tiny bathroom!
Fetching pins…
Laura Kurz These are the size hex tiles we are doing in the kiddos bath, with that color grout. :)
