Heidi Sentivan I haven't seen this granite before. I reminds me a lot of our soapstone! But should be more scratch resistant.
Laura Kurz I had never heard of it before either...But it is beautiful in person! Sent you a pic of the slab we saw. It looks a lot like soapstone but is supposed to be tougher...It doesn't look overly granite-like, which I loved, and the honed version was awesome.

Is this too industrial? On sale for $265 in Satin Nickel.

Heidi Sentivan I like it. It has a different finish, but I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing since I think it will read as dark brown/black from a distance. It is 29 1/2" tall, so the bottom would sit at 7 1/2' feet.

Heidi Sentivan I posted up that fixture in the 2 bigger sizes. I think it would look really nice, I agree that the beige on this one isn't quite right, although the price is quite reasonable.

Heidi Sentivan I like these a lot. The trick is finding one that is just the right color and size. I also prefer ones w/ a rod over a cord.
