Heidi Sentivan We are currently using this for our desk (which I am sitting at). It is nice and substantial feeling and I really like the color, but it is overdue for sealing. I think it would work well for a laundry room as long as it is sealed in a poly.
Laura Kurz Cool! I take it we just buy whatever size is bigger than the space and have it cut down to fit over the washer/dryer? I don't think I'll be using it a ton (will probably fold clothes in the bedroom), but want to put something there and not laminate. :)

Heidi Sentivan They are probably 12x12 or 13x13 since those are the standard sizes, although those do a look a little smaller. hmmm....I will have to ask my Marmoleum rep how well they cut. I find that VCT (vinyl composite tile) does not cut very well. Although VCT is probably only about $2 sf. and comes in more colors.
Laura Kurz I think the spaces are small enough that if this is a little more, we can swing it...I love the look! There is a dealer near here I can go look at colors.

Forbo Marmoleum Composition Tile (MCT). This is similar to standard VCT but made of linoleum. Comes in 13"x13" tiles in a range of colors. This would work well for the mudroom.
You could do one wall w/ cabinets, bench and beadboard w/ hooks.
