buy sample of identical color in high gloss. I want to do this with gray-on-gray stripes.
Put a shelf over a window and use the shelf brackets to hold a curtain rod. really, really love this idea.

candlestick apothecary jars. love! will make these as soon as I get a mantle. [need: 3 candlesticks, 3 glass jars with lids (spaghetti sauce jars?). Prime and paint candlesticks and lids. Clean jars with bleach solution, then glue to candlesticks with gorilla glue.]
