A young German designer and founder of her namesake studio Laura Strasser has developed this delicate, milky-white set of porcelaine dinnerware in collaboration with a Hong Kong-based manufacturer JIA Inc.. Named after the century-old, traditional Chinese rice grain technique employed in its production process, ‘Rice’ features a subtle, translucent cut-out pattern reminiscent of rice grains.

Piper Lioncourte I found mine, a clearly cheaper version, at Ikea, around 8 years ago. They looked just like this one.
Set of 2 artisan wooden bowls, each carefully hand dipped in a modern pink and warm grey. The colored portion is a soft rubbery plastic which makes them durable and non-slip. The wood is left natural.

t. nair San Jose doesn't give out any bags any more... Bring your own or pay for higher end reusables. I am surprised how quickly these plastic ones disappeared from our home :-). Glad to say we don't need it! h
