Pinterest is an online pinboard.
Organize and share things you love.
Whyyyy are these attached? I want to pin the bottom one. I hate books organized by color ON PRINCIPLE. Boo.

Anthropologie... You know what's funny? I see design pictures of unfinished wood floors and LOVE them. And yet I have them in my living room and think they suck. Mainly because we have all original wood trim/pocket doors and the floor looks so mismatched beside them. Also, splinters. Oh well.
Not really inspiration. This IS a bad iPhone picture of my lime office in its current decorative incarnation. Am looking for a small rug, so uploaded it for matching reference. Curtains - Anthropologie. Chair - target. The rest various vintage stuff.

Sarah Moon I've made loads of these for my house. Amy Butler has a fantastic, easy sewing pattern for them in a couple of sizes.
Sarah Tolcser I have this fabric in green. Was going to reupholster a bench with it but my husband hates it for some reason, so...
You have to make your own curtains to get this effect. Houses in NO have 12-14 foot ceilings... even my 108 inch ones don't pool on the floor because the room is too tall. *sad*
I just love these little windows to other rooms. Whhyyyy are they selling this place?
Ha! I have now Googled that house for sale in my hood and found more stuff to pin from it. Unsurprisingly it has been featured all over the place.

I actually would seriously think about this for my kitchen when we do it. I just think it wants some brick/wood sooo badly.
I crave open spaces with light like this and my house just doesn't have them.
stuff like this makes me want to purposely deconstruct some of my walls. I regret having painted them so neatly!
"what i dream my new house in new orleans looks like" (original comment) ...my office almost does! If it had a more attractive desk. And the top half of the wall wasn't lime green. :-)
Fetching pins…
Mookie Schiralli Way cool. Particularly that typewriter!
Sarah Tolcser My grandmother's. It was kicking around the house forever until my mom sent it to me. It weighs like 30 lbs!
Mookie Schiralli Perfect for writing heavy prose.
