Peony @Jaime Smith, this tradition already comes from certain Christian ceremonies. I did want to add that when we did it, our hands were tied for about 1/2 hour (until the ceremony is over)

Eve Frye Our daughter used this in their ceremony, and it was beautiful. Our heritage is Scottish, so we braided ribbon in the colors of our tartan into a cord. It turned out great.

At First Blush & Co. I just cried like the biggest romantic {I think it's safe to say I am} after seeing this video. Not one word spoken by anyone in this video was not filled with meaning and probably hope for those still looking for their unicorn. Loved it!
