Where to highlight... 2/3 | "1- Using your makeup sponge, apply a generous amount of highlighter under your eyes, extending to the tops of your cheekbones and along the sides of your nose. 2- Highlight your chin, the upper-most part of your jaw (directly below the ear), your brow bone, and the center of your forehead. You may also highlight your cupid’s bow (as seen above) for a more full, defined mouth."

Where to contour... 1/3 | "1-Feel the contours of your face. Apply the contour color directly underneath your cheekbone, extending from the center of your ear in a slightly downward motion. You will want to keep the contour application concise. If your brush feels too fluffy or large, pinch the bristles when you apply, this will give you more control. 2- Use a small eyeshadow brush to softly line both sides of the nose. If your nose is long...

Anna John ...2- If your nose is long, you may want to apply a little under the tip of your nose. Again, keep the applications concise. 3- Feel your jaw. You will apply your contour color below your jawbone, making sure not to apply any color to the actual bone. The point is to create a shadow below your jaw. If your jaw is large, you may bring the contour color up on either side of the chin. This will make your jaw appear less bold. 4- Blend your contour color into your hairline. Doing this helps make your face appear slimmer. Make sure to blend well into the hairline. *Although your colors may be dramatic, there should be no severe lines. Blend edges well.

Try with any color.

sohini baliga The problem of course, is this doesn't apply to those of us who are double-lidded. Le sigh...

"The side that you part your hair on sees the sun the most and gets gray faster," says dermatologist Jeannette Graf. Protecting all your hair from UV light will help preserve color. We like Rene Furterer Protective Summer Fluid spray.

Backstage Beauty Report | Oscar de la Renta: “I”m feeling a headband moment,” Orlando Pita said as he tied a gray silk ribbon with a sparkling sunburst brooch around the head of one of the models backstage at Oscar de la Renta. Black or silver ribbons, tiaras and jeweled headpieces were alternated to crown the teased-out bobs Pita fashioned using his own T3 Elevate Volumizing product and Control Hairspray...

Ranjana Rajendran I think I've done all of these at least once.

"Get a bowl of water, pour little bits of all the different shades you want, it should float on the top, swirl with a toothpick or something like it and when it looks like you want on top of the water, then dip your nails through the water..."

"I first prepared the skin with a moisturizer, concealer, & a liquid foundation. I set it with two shades of finishing powder for a warm natural look. I dusted a bronzer & a soft peach powder blush into the apples of the cheeks & across the forehead. I softly defined Kim’s brows with a light brown/blond eyebrow pencil and set with a brow gel. Softening the edges with a light brown shadow. I then blended a palette of gray eyeshadows across her entire eyelids...

Anna John ...blending a touch of deep purple shadow into the crease and outer edges and a matte ivory shadow in the arch of the brow. I blended the same gray tones along the lower lash line. Then I lined the entire eye with a black eye pencil. For a dramatic touch I lined the upper eyes with a black liquid eyeliner and softened it with my eyeshadow brush. I finished by curling and coating her lashes with black mascara. To finish this look and to get a true beige lip I first applied a touch of foundation over the entire lip and then powdered to set. Then lined the lips with a nude lip liner. Next I applied a creamy beige lipgloss over the entire lip and then applied a sheer pink shiny lip gloss just to the center of Kim’s lips.
