TIP FOR KEEPING BERRIES FROM GOING MOLDY!! When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider probably work best) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted I find you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit, and voila! Raspberries will last a week or more, a...

Sharon Sidell I just made these using this recipe - totally worth it! They didn't come out looking as glamorous as the cookies in this picture, but they taste great and are super soft/chewy! Super easy to make, too.
Anna John Whoa, thanks Krusty-molay! I'm WAY more likely to try these now. :D And who cares how glam they look. They're eventually going to be poo, amirite? ;)
I want to switch the soy sauce for something else, but otherwise, YUM. Reminds me of something I had at Tryst, which they no longer make. :(

"Here's a tip I learned from a chef acquaintance: The best way to reheat a store-bought baguette is to run it quickly under the tap with the water running and then put it directly into a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes, until it’s crisp on the outside and warm on the inside. I've done it this way many times...and it works! :-)"

THIS is the exact recipe Mom used! :D INGREDIENTS Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup butter, melted 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk 2 cups (12 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut 1 cup chopped nuts Instructions HEAT oven to 350°F. Coat 13 x 9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray. COMBINE graham cracker crumbs and butter in small bowl. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with chocolate chips, coconut and nuts. Press down firmly with fork. BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Loosen from sides of pan while still warm; cool on wire rack. Cut into bars or diamonds. For perfectly cut cookie bars, line entire pan with foil, extending foil over edge of pan. Coat lightly with no-stick cooking spray. After bars have baked and cooled, lift up with edges of foil to remove from pan. Cut into bars. VARIATIONS SUBSTITUTE chocolate chips or nuts with candy coated pieces, dried cranberries, raisins, mini-marshmallows or butterscotch chips.
