Runny nose from allergies? A study found taking 100mg of Panthothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) before bedtime cleared a stuffy nose within 15 minutes and subjects slept through the whole night. Another study found 250mg of Vitamin B5 resulted in almost instant relief of allergic rhinitis.

Don't throw out the water your boil your eggs in. This water contains tons of calcium that your plants will love. Just let the water cool and dump it on your plants. I also save my egg shells, rinse them out real well, smash them up then mix them with dirt and/or potting soil before planting any plants

Did you know that a teaspoon of honey (raw is best) and a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon will usually knock out a cold within a day or two? Take twice a day for 3 days for best results. So many people on the permalink have had good luck with this that I've got to try!

De-tarnish ALL your silver ALL at once... line your sink with aluminum foil, add 1/2 c table salt, 1/2 c. baking soda, fill with hot water, then dump in all your silver! Let sit for about 30 min. The tarnish all transfers to the foil! Thanks, Susan Branch!

How to get more peppers from your green pepper plants: "Spray the plant with Epsom salts (1 teaspoon dissolved in a spray bottle of warm water (about 4 cups). That gives the pepper plant a boost of magnesium that is required at flowering time to produce fruit. Spray them again 10 days later and in a few weeks, our expert friends report, you will have more peppers than you can eat."

A great way to re-use this coffee creamer bottle. Store sugar, dry beans, snacks, the fillers are endless. Great spout for pouring or easy twist off top.

House of Barron I used about 1 1/2 tsp of Dawn to about 1 Tablespoon of peroxide. The ratio is supposed to be 2 to 1. Twice as much peroxide as dawn. I would think you could use a lot more than that. I don't think it would hurt to even do 4 to 1 peroxide to Dawn. I probably added another couple tablespoons of baking soda as well. I didn't measure...just shook some into the little bowl I was using. After a few minutes of working it into the fabric with my scrub brush, I just left it there on the counter for an hour or so (not more than 2 hours) and then threw in the wash. I don't think it would hurt to let it soak over night though. I do that a lot with stubborn laundry stains.
Takes the dead skin right off. All you need is shaving cream and Listerine. Gonna try this

Take your favorite liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth completely with it. Wring it out and let it dry completely, then throw it in with your next load. This mega-fabric softener sheet should be good for at least 40 loads of laundry, stretching out softener use and lessening waste.
