Awesome mosquito repellent: 1 cup lemon scented ammonia, one cup lemon dish soap, mix in a sprayer you can attach to your hose (I reused an old bottle of lawn fertilizer) and spray your lawn. #gardening

Best Tan Recipe EVER! (well that's what the blogger says anyway)
World's most effective and cheapest acne spot treatment: one un-coated aspirin tablet + 4 drops of water. Mash it up using your finger and apply to problem spots. wait a few minutes and rinse off. Works wonders at reducing redness and swelling and speeding the recovery of painful zits and pimples. Can also be used on entire face as a mask to reduce pore size and prevent acne. A bottle of generic aspirin costs around $1 and will last FOREVER!

Another pinner said: I just tried this - I will NEVER buy Comet, Soft Scrub, etc again. Used in the tub - sprayed on, left for about 1/2 hr - wiped down like nothing there. it is sparkling!

put a tiny bit of toothpaste into a small cup, mix in one teaspoon baking soda and half a teaspoon water. Thoroughly mix then brush your teeth for two minutes. Remember to do it once a week until you have reached the results you want. Once your teeth are good and white, limit yourself to using the whitening treatment once every month or two.
simmer water, rosemary, lemon, and vanilla all day to make your home smell fantastic

Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals.

Without a doubt, one of the best things I ever did for my skin was to start making my own scrubs. The stuff at the store is chock full of stuff that's bad for your skin - all sorts of chemicals and alcohol. Yuck. Do your skin a favor... Go out and buy a mason jar. Add coarse sea salt, olive oil, almond oil, and if you can find it - jojoba oil. Use daily. Love your skin again. I add the olive oil and jojoba oil first to the salt and then add as much almond oil as I need to make it smell great. When you get out of the shower, your skin will be smooth, silky and you shouldn't need lotion. In the summer, you can add a little coconut oil for a tropical smell! ~ Constance :)
The ONLY stain remover that actually worked on a seriously set in stain! I am never buying oxyclean again.
