over dining table

Jamie Mead I really like this but if it were my house I wouldn't put this fixture with that table. I'd figure out which one you like better. Then go with whichever one you feel stronger about. Personally I like the chandelier more than I like the table. I love my dining table, it's the Basque table from crate and barrel. I think mixing different design styles is important to having a well rounded house but in this instance I think the two styles are just too different to get along. That's not to say you can't have them in the same house, what about this chandelier in the formal dining or entry and the PB table in the kitchen?
Jamie Mead Or it could be really fun to have this chandelier over a breakfast bar or island in the kitchen with pot lights too. IT WOULD LOOK AWESOME over an island in the kitchen! Here's the thing, I find that if you love something and can't stop thinking about it, you'll find a way to work it into your home. It's better to have something you love and makes you smile than something that just fits the space. It could even work to have that table in the kitchen. The chandelier somewhere in the kitchen and a traditional chandelier over the PB table.
