I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but I certainly like to look at it.
For a woman of my size, add 4" to those numbers. Though if you got me something 14" long I could wear it as an anklet. A 16" necklace could be a wrapped bracelet. But that 18" length is pretty useless, start at 20" if you want me to wear it on my neck.
14g glass spirals, probably more practical than the longer "squid" style... of course I do have double piercings, I could wear both....
