Step 1: You’ll need the shirt. I went to Hobby Lobby and got a medium sized, regular T (I usually wear a small) because I wanted the shirt to be a little extra loose. Up to you. Step 2: Lay the front of the shirt face down and find the exact middle of the back of the shirt. Mark it by putting a small sticker there. Measure about three and a half inches down from the sticker, remove it and place the sticker there. That is the center of your diamond. Step 3: Use a ruler, diamond stencil or free hand the shape of a diamond around the sticker making sure the sticker is the center of the diamond. Step 4: Get a good pair of scissors. (Hobby Lobby: $2.00) Cut around the neckline so that the neckline is bigger than it was. You can cut it as big as you want. You can just cut the elastic out or you can make it big enough to drape of your shoulder. Step 5: Where the neckline meets the sleeves you’re going to cut a V from each START of the sleeve to the top of your diamond as shown in the above picture. Cut that piece out. Then you are going to go over an inch or more or less and cut all the way to the outline of the diamond. Repeat this process all the way around the shirt.
