We are pleased to be showing New Sculpture by Chris Berti. True to his roots as a stonemason and bricklayer's grandson, Berti uses found antique paving stones and bricks for much of this new work. Appreciating the unprocessed quality that 100 year old bricks share with antique ceramics, Berti prefers them for their "monolithic quality of stone and ceramic quality of pots," which he finds more intimate.
