More on the White Flags project. The videos are interesting. from the artists website: "White Flags, an installation of all the flags of the United Nations rendered entirely in white, was inspired in the months after 9/11 as I observed the subtle yet undeniable change in that most ubiquitous of post 9/11 symbols: the American Flag bumper sticker. Watching these colors fade over time made me wonder what it might be like if all the flags of the world ultimately faded to white. A decade in the making, the project has now been realized as it was meant to be seen; in New York City to commemorate the 10th anniversary of an event that has changed us all.

Lynn Harris It is sort of depressing but beautiful at the same time. The photographer finds beauty in the HUGE changes that man has made in the world. This and the Andy Goldworthy (Rivers and Tides) really made me more observant of my surroundings.
