Frances Donohue You might want to check the names on this - Kathleen Kennedy Cavendish was the daughter of Rose and Joe Kennedy, but she died in 1948 (pre-Lilly). Kathleen Kennedy Townsend is the daughter of Ethel Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, but neither of these women look like Ethel.
Frances Donohue This article in Vanity Fair includes a photo of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and her grandmother, Rose: http://www.vanityfair.com/o...
Pink Pelican Thank you! We just repinned it and didn't look at the names!

Lilly Pulitzer herself... this picture was inspiration for a painting done by one of the Lilly Print Designers at the Madison Ave Store.

Lilly Pulitzer, peering through the window of her store. I believe this is her location on S. County Blvd where the C. Orrico store is now. Lilly had her factory there too at one point.

Not sure who this lovely lady is, but I know she's wearing Lilly Pulitzer. Looks like it was just snapped yesterday, but I'd guess this would have been taken in late 60's. The photographer was Howard Conant, who also took some of the my favorite pics of Grace Kelly and Audry Hepburn.

kristina krieger That's Joan Coleman in 1962. She's in Houston : )(source-Life Magazine)
I believe this is Wendy Burden (Vanderbilt) - but I'm positive "It's a Lilly! It has been asked often of our store manager, Stephanie, if this is her in the picture. Granted our copy looks just like it was shot yesterday, but it was taken in early 70's!

Lilly exiting Peter's plane with fabric swatches in hand. May have been a place in Key West that she visited often. Looks like she's on a mission!

This picture was taken by Slim Aarons in 1964. I believe this is the fountain in Palm Beach City Hall. Included are Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, and Whitney families. This was the inspiration of the Lilly Pulitzer Resort print "In the Slim" a couple of years ago.

Lilly in her store off Via Mizner, Worth Ave. Love it! See the shifts were different prints? If someone called to order one, she's ask "do you want it mild or wild"? I'll take mine WILD, please!!

I believe this is from a Life Magazine, shot in Lilly's backyard?

Fetching pins…
Trish Cusack Love this ad! I still have some pieces of Key West fabric my mother bought in the 1960's. I'm saving them until I decide the perfect place for them! Great pin!
Pink Pelican We'd LOVE to see a pic!
