A Gardening Verse In my garden there is a seed, I am the one who put it there. Who will help it now to grow? Earth and sun and rain and air. In my garden there is a flower, From a seed it came to birth. Who helped it to grow so tall? Air and rain and sun and earth.

There was a little gnome Who had a little crumb Touch side of mouth And over the mountain he did run. Run hands over top of head With a belly full of fat Tickle belly And a tall point hat Make a point on the top of the head And a pancake stuck to his bum, bum, bum! Tap their little tushie.

Jessica I love this site. I so need to work on transition songs. I have been working on doing them more this week. I'm also looking into time management. The past 2 weeks have been so jumbled up.

Julie Hunter (thiscosylife.com) They really do make a difference. I use to struggle to get the girls to come to the bathroom to brush their teeth in the morning, but now I don't say a thing. I just go in there, start singing the song and getting brushes ready and they come running!

Jessica Well I have started one for bedtime. I hope to see the magic of it soon, or I might lose my mind. It has been crazy here.

For Thanksgiving Oh, the earth is good to me. And so I thank the earth, For giving me the things I need: The sun and the rain and the apple seed; The earth is good to me.

This is the Way We "This is the way we pick up the leaves, pick up the leaves, pick up the leaves. This is the way we pick up the leaves, because they’ve fallen down!. (Each child picks up a leaf in the middle of the circle) This is the way we throw the leaves, Throw the leaves, throw the leaves. This is the way we throw the leaves, because they’ve fallen down! (Each child throws their leaf into the middle of the circle) This is the way we jump on the leaves, jump on the leaves, jump on the leaves This is the way we jump on the leaves, because they’ve fallen down. (Each child jumps forward into the circle)

Mr. Pumpkin (tune: Where is thumbkin) Mr. Pumpkin, Mr. Pumpkin, Round and fat. Round and fat. Harvesttime is coming. Harvesttime is coming. Yum, yum, yum. That is that!

"Over the river and through the wood Oh, how the wind does blow! It stings the toes And bites the nose, As over the ground we go. Over the river and through the wood To have a first-rate play. Hear the bells ring, Ting-a-ling-ling! Hurrah for Thanksgiving Day!" - Linda Maria Child, Over the River
