Zesty Italian Potatoes! Yummy! Red potatoes cubed with skin left on, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, coat with a package of zesty Italian dressing mix and stir to coat, add minced onion for flavor, salt and pepper to taste. Cook 400 degree oven for 45 minutes or until tender. Top with grates Parmesan cheese.

Kristin Jackson {the Hunted Interior} We love this trick! They grow well for about a month & then become a little hollow... But a months yield from one purchase is still worth the effort!

Profile picture of Heidi Brachle

Heidi Brachle I find it helps to trim them a bit if you have used their bounty for a few days.

Profile picture of Georgia Cuevas

Georgia Cuevas Does the onion smell permeate the kitchen?

Profile picture of Lindsey

Lindsey When I tried this, my stems rotted. I tried planting the roots in soil and they sprouted and grew several inches in a matter of days!

10 ways to cook quinoa. has more protein per ounce than meat. (I have some of this and haven't tried it yet!)

Profile picture of Christie Mauricio

Christie Mauricio its really good to use in soups as a sub. for rice or noodles.

Profile picture of Keri Lee

Keri Lee HOW did you know I needed this? I bought some from Sunflower Market recently, tried it with fruit and cinnamon for breakfast and didn't like it, but I want to try it a few different ways before I give up on it.

Profile picture of Lori Em

Lori Em love quinoa, but just curious where you got the stat about more protein than meat? http://www.wolframalpha.com...

Profile picture of Shana

Shana I LOVE quinoa. I use it in almost everything. My favorite, though, is to use it cooked and cooled - then add salt, dill, cucumber, tomato, and avocado. Delish!

Profile picture of Candy Eubanks

Candy Eubanks When I repinned this I also repinned the comment from it's original source. Lori brings up a good point and thanks for the link, I need to do more research. For now though, I plan on using quinoa as Christie suggests, a healthy sub for rice and noodles. :)

Angel/TaDa! Creations I made these just today. I would suggest spreading the cream cheese on first and then sprinkle with cukes. You don't mix well since they are so wet. I would also add 2x the turkey next time so you can taste it more. Overall, pretty good and the kids liked them.
