Judy Hanses I saw someplace where they put thin florists' wire up through the stems of the tulips so that they are more managable, ie., you can bend them or straighten them as needed. Sometimes, tulips can be a little unruly.

Joan Wyatt Fred Meyer has similar ones...always a great selection, if you live in the Pacific Northwest.
Terri Thomas i have never heard of that, @Joan Wyatt, but after hearing wonderful things about west coast stores like Trader Joes and now Fred Meyer, I think I need to take a road trip across the country. :)
Joan Wyatt @Terri Thomas, there are many Trader Joes opening up in other parts of the country. Check their site for locations. It would be hard to live without TJ. It was at the top of out list when we were deciding where to move after my hubby finished nursing school. :-)
